These rules govern participation in the GUAC Mexi Grill contests listed on this page. By entering, you agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. These contests are subject to all applicable federal and provincial laws of Canada, including the Competition Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-34, applicable contract law, and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), S.C. 2000, c. 5, as amended.

Open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, promotional agencies, and the immediate family members and household members of any such persons are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
The contest begins June 8, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends July 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted outside this window will not be considered.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. This contest complies with the no-purchase requirement under section 206 of the Criminal Code of Canada and the promotional contest provisions of the Competition Act.
During the Entry Period, visit the entry platform at gleam.io/GtnJa/guac-10-years-bold and complete all required fields. Limit one (1) entry per person unless the entry platform permits additional entries through optional actions, in which case such actions are clearly disclosed on the entry platform. Entries generated by automated means, scripts, bots, or other unauthorized means are void.
As required by the Competition Act, the following prizes and their approximate retail values are disclosed:
Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $3,000.00 CAD. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable. No cash substitution or prize exchange is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. GUAC gift cards are subject to the Sponsor's gift card terms and conditions and are accepted at participating GUAC Mexi Grill locations.
Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period on or about August 7, 2026. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Sponsor estimates entry volumes based on prior promotions but cannot guarantee specific odds.
As required by Canadian law, before any prize is awarded, the selected potential winner must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind (whether mechanical, electronic, or otherwise), a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor. Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Selected potential winners will be notified using the contact information provided at time of entry. Potential winners must respond within seven (7) calendar days of initial notification. Failure to respond, failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question, failure to satisfy any eligibility requirement, or return of notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. In the event of disqualification, an alternate winner may be selected from remaining eligible entries at the Sponsor's discretion.
Personal information collected through this contest (including name, email address, and province of residence) is collected by the Sponsor for the sole purpose of administering this contest and, if applicable, announcing winners. Personal information will not be sold, rented, or otherwise transferred to third parties except: (a) to the contest administrator (gleam.io) as necessary to operate the entry platform; (b) as required by applicable law; or (c) with the entrant's consent. Information is handled in accordance with the Sponsor's Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy statutes. Entrants may contact the Sponsor to request access to, or correction of, their personal information at any time.
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, a winner grants the Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the winner's name, city and province of residence, and general likeness for promotional or advertising purposes related to this contest, without further compensation or notice.
The Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) failed, lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete entries; (b) any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of participation in the contest or acceptance or use of any prize; (c) errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, viruses, or failures relating to the entry platform, whether resulting from acts of God, technical failures, or otherwise. By entering, you release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliated entities, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or causes of action in connection with this contest or any prize awarded.
This contest is governed exclusively by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this contest shall be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario.

Each weekly draw prize consists of GUAC Mexi Grill branded merchandise, which may include items such as lip balms, backpacks, and charging banks. The approximate retail value of each weekly prize will vary; individual prize value is estimated at approximately $20.00–$60.00 CAD. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable. No cash substitution is permitted.
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw each Friday during the Entry Period for that week's eligible entries. The odds of winning any given draw depend on the number of eligible entries received prior to that week's draw.

Entry into this contest is conducted through Facebook, a third-party platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Sponsor does not independently collect or store personal information beyond what is voluntarily and publicly disclosed through Facebook comments (name and comment content). This information is used solely to identify eligible entrants and notify winners. The Sponsor will not use contest entrant information for marketing purposes without separate consent. Entrants are also subject to Facebook's own Privacy Policy and Data Policy. This contest is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation including PIPEDA.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.). By entering, you acknowledge that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Facebook, and you release Facebook from all liability in connection with this contest. All questions and concerns regarding this contest must be directed to the Sponsor, not to Facebook.
The Sponsor is not responsible for failed, misdirected, or incomplete entries; technical failures of Facebook or any third-party platform; or any injury, loss, or damage arising out of participation in or acceptance of a prize.
